large, littered, lonely field
soiled, sodden, sagging tents
cursed, chaotic, chemical prisons
huddled desperately on
patchy grass and mud,
lit by yellow flickers
under shaking fingers
chasing the dragon
bitter, brutal wind
icy, drenching rain
there but for the
grace of God
go I
